Company Overview

Kelmore Capital has been buying and holding apartment buildings in the Seacoast since 2015. We started in Durham, expanded to Dover, and now own ~250 units across 35 properties in New Hampshire and southern Maine, including Portland.

We buy buildings that need work. Deferred maintenance gets addressed rather than deferred again. When a unit turns over, we put money into it before the next tenant moves in. Most of what we earn goes back into the buildings.

We've sold two properties in ten years. Everything else we still own.

Owning this much housing in a handful of small communities means working with the organizations already doing the hard work in them. We partner with several, including Preble Street in Portland, which has served people experiencing homelessness in Maine since 1975 and runs housing programs for veterans. In short, we make ourselves and our properties available to people who need them.

At the end of the day, we're from here. That's most of why we've stayed in these markets rather than chasing better numbers somewhere else.

We look forward growing our business and continuing to serve the communities we are in for years to come.
